The Arc of Indiana



The Arc of Indiana advocates for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Local chapters provide advocacy, information, and networks for families, and many offer direct services including residential care, independent living support, and employment services.

Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services (BDDS)



Part of Indiana’s Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA), BDDS provides residential, independent living, vocational, and person-centered planning services for people with developmental disabilities. Services are accessed through local district offices.

CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions



CICOA serves as the Area Agency on Aging for Central Indiana, offering resources for older adults, people with disabilities, and family caregivers. Services include meals, transportation, in-home support, caregiver training, and assistance navigating long-term care options.

Dementia Friends Indiana



Dementia Friends Indiana – administered statewide by CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions – raises awareness of dementia, reduces stigma, and creates supportive communities. The program encourages individuals to learn practical ways to support those with memory loss.

SMP – Indiana Association of Area Agencies on Aging (IAAAA)



The Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) program, led by IAAAA, helps Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries prevent, detect, and report healthcare fraud, errors, and abuse. Volunteers and staff provide education and support to protect seniors from scams.
